BEST WATERFALLS AND WALKS ON MOUNT BUFFALO | Hidden gems in Victoria's High Country

We spent the day up at Mount Buffalo National Park where we did a heap of short walks to some of the best sights up there.

We started off at Rollasons Falls which is a gorgeous waterfall and swimming hole. It is a bit of a walk to get there but definitely worth checking out both the Upper and Lower falls.

Next up was The Monolith which is a huge vertical boulder balancing on other rocks. There's a staircase to get up there and it's also an incredible view over Lake Catani and the surrounding plateau.

We also checked out The Chalet as we parked at The Gorge Day Visitor Area and had walked over to the lookouts where a new glass bottom lookout has been constructed.

Then we went to the Chalwell Galleries which is a walk from Lake Catani Campground. Highly recommend this walk as it takes you through caves and between massive boulders.

We stopped at the Leviathan when we drove past which was another huge boulder and awesome lookout.

The next walk we did was up The Cathedral. We decided to take the Hump Track all the way to the top which had amazing views across to The Horn and over the plateaus all around us. This walk is definitely worth doing!

Then we raced up to The Horn where we cooked dinner on the Weber at The Horn Picnic Area. After that we ran up to the peak of The Horn for the most amazing sunset. We had the place all to ourselves and it was a perfect way to end the day.
