Hello friends,
I am often asked that between heart and brain, what should I follow?
What's the difference between emotions and feelings?
How to get in command of our emotions? In this video I have tried to answer these questions.
emotional intelligence is about managing our own emotions and others emotions. It has 5 key elements.
1. self awareness
2. self regulation
3. motivation
4. empathy
5. Social Skills
in this video I have discussed about first three elements.
here are the steps suggested:
for self awareness
1. slow and breathing exercise
2. becoming a self watcher by self talk and reflection
you can't see yourself when you are in the frame. so you need to come out of the frame.
for self regulation
1. change in body posture and physiology. it is not only your mind which influences the body it is also your body which influences the mind. Fake it till you make it.
2. developing solution orientation
3. learning to accept the things which are beyond our control.

one more important step is to consciously design of positive environment. choosing right kind of people, reading right kind of books and watching right kind of things.
