Had him come in at 5:30 in a pouring rain. Put a 194-gr Lehigh defense subsonic right behind the shoulder with the 300AAC. He only ran about 20-yds but was a bitch to find in the waist high alders and huckleberries. He was a very old deer. 147 pounds. Having a European mount done of the skull.
