Continuing the Avatar short story Dragon Days, Aang and his friend Kuzon encounter a green dragon before stumbling upon a group of bandits stealing the egg from her nest after luring the dragon away, to sell on the black market
Aang says they have to help the mom get her egg back and Kuzon agrees so they come up with a plan using Kuzon’s firebending
The bandits load the purple dragon egg on the back of one of their mounts before they hear a loud roar in the distance
But it's not the dragon, it's actually Appa with Kuzon creating fireballs and Aang making flapping sounds, all to convince the bandits the dragon is back
The bandit leader is worried that the mother has already returned and Aang uses his airbending to amplify Kuzon’s flames, creating a much larger fireball
These flames spread across the mountaintop causing the bandits to panic and flee as Aang secretly flies up in his air glider and secures the egg from the mount
But the creature turns hostile towards Aang who almost drops the egg in response but catches it just in time
He is very relieved but then looks over to see that the mother dragon has returned with a bandit already in her mouth, not looking very happy as Aang is caught in an unfortunate situation

The world is divided into four nations -- the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and the Air Nomads -- each represented by a natural element for which the nation is named. Benders have the ability to control and manipulate the element from their nation. Only the Avatar is the master of all four elements. The ruthless Fire Nation wants to conquer the world but the only bender who has enough power, the Avatar, has disappeared ... until now. His tribe soon discovers that Aang is the long-lost Avatar. Now Katara and Sokka must safeguard Aang on his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.
