How to use Alexa to turn on your shower
This installation does not require a plumber... if you can change a shower head, you can add this YoLink battery-operated valve.
If you don't want to use Alexa, you can use the YoLink app on your phone or add a YoLink contact sensor to detect the shower door opening/closing to control the YoLink water valve
