Enjoy this tour of the Battle ship North Carolina, located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Launched in 1940 and decommissioned in 1947, this ship had a very short life. During it's time in World War two, it earned 15 battle stars. During one battle the North Carolina put up such a fierce fight, other ships believed it was on fire. Now thats impressive!

This was really a enjoyable tour with no screaming kids, annoying music, and most of the ship open to explore. Best part of all, it was a self walking tour where you can spend all day going where ever you like.

The ship itself was quite impressive with most of the original machinery and objects still left inside and in great condition. This truly is a all day tour (and I did spend most of the day there). Video was shot with permission of staff in May, 2014. If you are ever in Wilmington this is a must see attraction. Open every day of the year except holidays.
