I went Mushroom Picking in Japan!

You heard it here first folks. Strawberries are out, mushrooms are in. I don’t make the rules!

For real though, mushroom picking was far more of a joy than I thought it would be and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new kind of experience. It’s called Sakura Mushroom Farm (佐倉きのこ園） and it’s not far from Tokyo either! Actually everywhere I went on my recent sponsored trip to Chiba really surprised me at how unique, fun and impressive it was! I filmed a video here so expect to see that on my youtube channel in a week or so.

To get here, catch the train to Monoi Station and then either catch the bus to Nishimikado and then walk 20 mins, or catch a 10 min taxi OR just walk 36 mins from the station lol. A little bit awkward to get to but so so worth it! I recon kids would also have a great time here!
