Culture Has the Power to Heal | Jesse Thistle
Jesse Thistle is an Indigenous Homelessness scholar and one of the top academics in the country, after finally connecting with his roots and finding support to put an end to "a long career as a homeless drug addict." As a survivor of the streets, jail system, and addictions, Jesse keenly understands through lived experience Canadian social injustice and works at helping in those areas when and where time permits.
