"Young Love" - Sonny James acoustic cover by Al Jackson

"Young Love" was written (and first recorded by) Ric Cartey and Carole Joyner in 1956.. but the song never charted. It soon became one of 16 consecutive Number 1 hits by country artist Sonny James.
The Crew Cuts, Tab Hunter and Donnie Osmond subsequently all reached #1 with the song too.
As a youngster, it became a favorite tune of mine ..but I never covered it in any way, until now. It's a little rough, but then so am I. You will NOT find perfection on my channel. The riff is fun to play on acoustic. Try it, you'll see.
