This was recorded off a VHS tape copyright 1987 King Broadcasting (Seattle King 5).
Copied from rear of case:
"'A fabulous new version . . . much more appealing than the original tale. . . . If plays for grownups were this good, no one would call the theatre dead.'

The Seattle Children's Theatre Production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Adapted for the stage and screen by Greg Palmer
Original music by David Duvall
Songs by Chad Henry, David Duvall and Greg Palmer
Produced by KING 5 Television, Seattle
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs may be the best known, best loved fairy tale of all time -- an exciting saga of adventure, romance, jealousy, treachery and love. Produced in 1986 by the Seattle Children's Theatre, the original stage musical was a smashing success, playing to more than 20,000 people.
This movie version, using most of the original stage cast, was photographed on location throughout the Northwest -- in the forest of the North Cascades, on the Skykomish River, in the stately mansions of Seattle.
The result is a stunning achievement: a retelling of Snow WHite and the Seven Dwarfs with some delightful suprises for even the most devoted fans of the original Grimm Brothers' story."
I do not own, nor claim to own, any part of this footage. This clip has been uploaded for educational and historical purposes only.
