Straight Pour Acrylic Painting - One Of My Favorite Paint Pour Color Combos

I used one of my favorite color combos in this straight pour acrylic painting. My version of a straight pour is very similar to a ring pour.

I pour in a thin stream of paint but alter the direction of the pour throughout the pouring process. I like to pour straight down, clockwise, and counterclockwise.

I find that the varying paint stream ads interest to the rings of color when stretching the painting.

The gold got a bit lost in this painting but gold can be a fickle color. I still really like the end result. Let me know what you think.

Paint Mixing Formula…..........................

5 parts Floetrol
3 parts paint
1/2 - 2 part water to reach desired consistency

I like the consistency of my paints to form the slightest mound when running off the stir stick into the cup of paint.
