Taoism's Teaching of Innate Goodness

Taoism is a way of life that is diametrically opposed to any system of socialization. Nothing illustrates this more than the fact that at the core of Taoism is the knowledge of fundamental goodness. This knowledge runs counter to Confucius's idea that we are all beasts from birth or the idea of original sin in Christianity. Taoism, on the other hand, is based on nature and nature is inherently good and doesn't relate to our man-made moral sensibilities of right and wrong based on our cultural and religious frameworks. Taoism is a technology designed to unravel us from the socialization we've all endured from birth, which warped our pure nature. The innate goodness of the Tao can only be realized once one is willing to engage in this process of disentangling one's mind from the indoctrination that breeds dualistic thinking.
