തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ ആറ്റിങ്ങലിൽ നിന്ന് കുറച്ച് ഉള്ളിലായി മൂന്ന്, നാല് വീടുകൾ അടുത്തടുത്തായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു,ഗ്രാമീണമായ സ്ഥലം,വീടുകളുടെ പരിസരം കുറ്റിച്ചെടികൾ നിറഞ്ഞ് കാട് പിടിച്ച് കിടക്കുന്നു,അതിൽ ഒരു വീട്ടിലാണ് വാവയുടെ ഇന്നത്തെ ആദ്യത്തെ യാത്ര.ഈ വീടിന് ചുറ്റും നിറയെ പൂച്ചെടികളും, പച്ചക്കറി കൃഷിയും കണ്ടാൽ തന്നെ മനോഹരം,ആ ചെടികൾക്കിടയിലാണ് രാവിലെ രണ്ട് പാമ്പുകളെ കണ്ടത്,കുട്ടികൾ കളിക്കുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് വീട്ടുകാർ കണ്ടത്,വീട്ടിലാണെകിൽ നിറയെ കുട്ടികളാണ് കളിക്കാനായി എത്തുന്നത്,എന്തായാലും പാമ്പുകളെ കണ്ടത് നന്നായി കാരണം അപകടകാരികളായ അണലികളാണ് രണ്ടും,ഇവയുടെ ഈണചേരൽ സമയമാണ് അതുമാത്രമല്ല ഈ സമയത്തെ അണലികളുടെ കടി ഏറെ അപകടം നിറഞ്ഞതാണ്,സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ വാവക്ക് ഒരു ചെറിയ പണികിട്ടി,വാവയുടെ കാൽ ഒന്ന് മടങ്ങി, വേദന വകവെക്കാതെ പാമ്പുകളെ പിടികൂടാനായി അവയുടെ അടുത്തെത്തി,പക്ഷെ രണ്ടു അണലികളും രണ്ട് വഴിക്കായി ഇഴഞ്ഞു നീങ്ങി,വാവക്കാണെങ്കിൽ വേദന കാരണം ഓടാനും സാധിക്കുന്നില്ല,കുറച്ചുനേരം പാമ്പുകൾ വാവയെ ഒന്ന്‌ ചുറ്റിച്ചു,കാണുക അപകടവും സാഹസികതയും നിറഞ്ഞ സ്നേക്ക് മാസ്റ്ററിന്റെ ഈ എപ്പിസോഡ്...
The place is located in the interior area of Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram district. It appeared to be village-like and the location had a line of two to three houses. The premises of the houses have growths of thickets. Vava Suresh’s first journey today was towards one of those houses.
Surrounding the houses are beautiful flower-bearing plants and vegetable farming. It was in between these plants the household members saw two snakes in the morning. Children were playing there at that time.
Many children usually come to this spot for playing. However it was good that the grownups saw the snakes because both snakes were dangerous vipers. Moreover, it was their mating time, the time when the vipers are more dangerous.
Vava, who reached the spot, however skid and sprained his leg. Neglecting the pain, he moved towards the snakes to catch them but they slid away in two directions. Vava also could not catch up with them soon due to leg pain. For some time it was like ‘hide and seek’ game between Vava and Snakes.
