Kala Hiran Producer Amit Jani Alleges Death Threat From Pakistan-Based Terrorist Shahzad Bhatti

Film producer Amit Jani has claimed that he received a threatening call from alleged terrorist Shahzad Bhatti and has informed authorities about the matter through an email sent to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Rajasthan DGP U.R. Sahoo.

In his complaint, Jani alleged that the threat was linked to his upcoming film Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy, which is reportedly inspired by the controversial blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan.

The film has been at the centre of a major controversy ever since its teaser was released, with Salman Khan moving the Delhi High Court and seeking a stay on the film, alleging violation of his personality rights. The matter is scheduled to be heard by the court on June 19.
