Kayak Fishing: Halibut, Calicos & Bonito 60 Miles Out | Field Trips | Field Trips with Robert Field

In the first episode of my #FieldTrips: Fish Village series, we've arrived at San Clemente Island 60 miles offshore and are ready to drop the kayaks in. We work through a tough bite to land some nice fish including a halibut, calico bass, rockfish, a stingray and some bonito. Then I hook into a very unwanted bycatch: a juvenile sea lion that proceeds to tow me all over the bay.
