*** I uh I don't know what I ever did to to deserve to be able to be on a stage like this, to be able to sing, to be able to express myself, to be able to connect with people from around the world. What a gift. What a blessing this is. I wish that I could tell you thank you enough, but truly I need you to know for all the people who tell us that their music, our music has done so much for you. You have done so much for us. Truly, you have done so much for us to be able to do this. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for this. [Applause] I uh I was not some kid who knew that I had a voice. I did not I hated my voice. I hated my voice. When I was little, my brothers would call me Cookie Monster from Sesame Street because uh they said my voice sounded like Cookie Monster. You guys know the Cookie Monster over here in France.

*** Anyway, when I was 12 years old, I wrote my first song and uh I had no intention for anybody to ever hear. It was just for me. It was just a song for myself. In fact, the song was called All By The Himself. That's the name of the first song I ever wrote. And I was it was just about being alone and in in my head. I just could not find any love for myself. I had no sense of love and uh I struggled with happiness. I struggled to find any sense of meaning in life. Why do we why are we here? Why do we just live to die? And I had no faith. I grew up in a family of a lot of faith and I had no faith. And uh so I felt lost. And for some reason, the universe has given me this position to be on a stage around the world. And I feel that I am indebted to tell you that what saved me was to just express myself, just to speak, just to be free to just say my truth. It sounds like such a cliche, but we must express ourselves. You must please do not sit in your emptiness. Do not sit in your lonesome. Do not sit in your depressed state. Just share it. Talk to a friend. Talk to a family member. If it's available to you, go to therapy. I'm in therapy. I've been in therapy since I was very young. That's why I'm still here. It doesn't make you weak. It doesn't make you broken. It makes you wise. We need each other. We need each other. We need each other. Do not let the world tell you that we are so divided that we should stay away from each other. No, we need each other. We need each other. Stay alive. Your life is always worth living. Your life is always worth living. We love you. That's it.
