Sit back and enjoy an immersive ride across the beautiful temple town of Rameswaram. Situated in the southern most tip of India, Rameswaram is a beautiful temple town whose economy is completely based on the Bay of Bengal. Rameswaram is visited by a million travellers every year.

Rameswaram temple is one of the most important Hindu temple in India. Hindu pilgrims make it a point to visit Rameswaram after their visit to Varanasi in North India. Rameswaram temple has the longest corridor in the world. It is adorned by beautiful carved and painted pillars throughout its length.

Rameswaram is also known for its fishing harbor. The dry fish yard is a sight to watch ( with nose clipped). Rameswaram dry fish - Karuvadu as it is called, is famous throughout Tamilnadu.

Dhanushkodi is an abandoned town at the south-eastern tip of Rameswaram. It is just18 miles (29 km) west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath. The ruins of this town keeps reminding us the power of Mother Nature.
