Design for Better Rehabilitation

At the brand new Campus Kilpatrick in Malibu, California, we partnered with Los Angeles County to design a facility that represents a shift in the youth rehabilitation paradigm from "custody and control" to "care and custody." The architecture of the new facility has been designed to inform new behaviors and supportive relationships between youth and staff.
