Through a series of tweets flagged for potential misinformation, Trump vowed that he would launch several lawsuits against states in which he believed he got cheated out of a win. CNN reported that Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and his third wife, Melania Trump, have advised him to give up, while Eric and Don Jr. have continued tweeting unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud.
