MSF Academy for Healthcare: Nursing and midwifery

The MSF Academy for Healthcare focuses on strengthening the skills and competencies of frontline healthcare workers, with the aim to increase the quality of provided to patients. It implements on-the-job learning programmes in nursing, midwifery, outpatient care, infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, among others. The Nursing and Midwifery initiative offers several continuous professional development programmes at hospital-level, covering the basic competencies of the job but also more specialised levels of care.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
