Fred Finn & Peter Horan :"The Scotsman Over The Border/The Tenpenny Bit "

Two of Co. Sligo's finest traditional players, Fred Finn [ fiddle ] and Peter Horan [ flute ] play 2 jigs. I believe that "The Tenpenny Bit" is a local Sligo name for the second jig, as there is a more common tune by the same name.
The scan shows the 2 musicians on the front cover of the cassette recording they made, which was also released on LP record format, but never made it to CD. Rumour has it that the original recording tapes have been lost.
