Racquet Drop Variations | Open-Face vs On-Edge Racquet Drop

When looking at the best servers in history it's evident that there are racquet drop variations when these players execute their serves. It turns out there are two ways to perform the serve racquet drop.
One way to do it is the on-edge racquet drop used by players such as Laver, McEnroe, Ivanisevic, S. Williams, and Isner. Another way to drop the racquet on the serve is the open-face racquet drop used by top servers such as Sampras, Becker, Federer, and Roddick.
