Metal Casting At Home....Fails Included!

DIY metal casting at home can be fun and rewarding. Equally it can be frustrating and truly awful when things go wrong. Unlike other skills and crafts, there is no direct feedback as you figuratively pour hours of work and toil down a narrow hole in a sand mould. You then have to wait until you can reveal the mess inside. In this video I demonstrate how I made two castings for a metal cutting bandsaw table. Each had issues which I was eventually able to resolve.
