Neummern

Neummern is an non-commercial audio-visual work that I created out of inspiration from the original track Nummern (Numbers) by Kraftwerk. Initially, I started this as an editing and electronic music composing exercise, however the extent to which the original idea was altered and transformed, the completely new melody line and the new audio-visual elements added a new dimension to the original and probably shifted this product to the zone of the transformative works. Nevertheless, my main idea was to show my gratitude and respect to Kraftwerk and in the same time to give something new and (hopefully) interesting to the community of the Kraftwerk fans.
The audio-samples with the counting in Japanese, Italian and German were taken from the original track Nummern (Numbers) by Kraftwerk.
