Faux pink quartz - polymer clay tutorial 021

This is my method of making faux quartz, with an explanation why I am doing it this way. You can find all the details that explain the "why" and the "how" more than the video in my blog here
http://kalyanadesign.blogspot.com/2017/05/realistic-pink-quartz.html
I am trying my best to get the camera to auto-focus properly in the end. I hope you can see the details well enough. So I posted some close-up photos on the blog so you can see better the end result.
I sanded the pieces with the Polyfast starting with 300 all the way up to 1500.
I dont' have a buffer, and my hands don't let me do hand buffing too well so I used Judikins Diamond Glaze for varnish.
There's also a little surprise towards the end.....haha.
Necessary materials:
Translucent Premo
Translucent white Premo
Translucent Pardo
A smidgeon of Premo red
Sandpaper wet/dry from 300 to at least 1000.
Judikins Diamond Glaze if you don't have a buffer or can't buff by hand.

I buy my Premo, Fimo and Pardo clays and many other supplies from PolyClay Play.
