Suntec, Boeing Asia Pacific Aviation Services retrench staff

Suntec Convention Centre is retrenching 85 staff, comprising 60 locals and 25 foreigners. The exercise affects workers across the company, including those in sales, finance and HR. Separately, a joint venture firm of Boeing and SIA Engineering - Boeing Asia Pacific Aviation Services - is laying off 27 employees, or about 13 per cent of its workforce.
