Just a video on applying Thermal Paste, Thermal Compound or Thermal Grease, they are all the same thing.
There are many methods to apply, but in all honesty, there is not much difference in any of them. You will probably see no more than 1 Celsius in all the methods.

Major factors to take into account:

1. Types of compound used

2. Silicone lottery ie not all CPU are made equal

3. Conditions you are testing in.

4. Type of heatsink used.

5. How you apply the thermal compound.

6. How much thermal paste you use.

And for a negligible difference in CPU temps

I personally think is a silly debate when people try and say one method is better than others. The internet is full of confusing and misinformation about how to apply thermal paste to a cpu.
