Tour of the Oldest Part of Amsterdam On A Beautiful Winter day 4K Live Camera HDR

Hi there!

Today a tour of the oldest part of Amsterdam. Normally this part of town is very busy; filled with visitors and vendors of all types.

Because Amsterdam is still in full lockdown these parts are now open to the camera. Filming the Red-Light district is normally not allowed and will end with trouble.
But since we are in lockdown we can make the best of it.

The area reaches from the Geldersekade, Kloveniersburgwal, Nes to the Warmoesstraat.
Within this area we find many of the attractions which Amsterdam has to offer. Besides numerous bars and restaurants this area is home of Chinatown, the world famous Red-Light district as well as the Nieuwmarkt. Some of Amsterdam's most beautiful canals are here as well; De Kloveniersburgwal and the Grimburgwal.

Many of the street names found here remind us of activities that took place in the area: Bloedstraat (blood street), Warmoesstraat (vegetable street) etc.
Other names are just a bit odd: Gebed zonder end (prayer without end) or Oudekennissteeg (Old Acquaintance Alley).
