Weaving Hand-Knotted Carpets_Nepal

Here weavers work on contemporary Tibetan carpet designs. Paper patterns defining each knot and colour of the design are attached to the loom above their heads of reference. They work quickly using the Tibetan Knot method which uses a temporary rod placed in front of the warp.
