Our2006 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter 411 CDI campervan, stored in Uruguay, South America, is for sale. 

Ideal for self-sufficient extended off-grid use with 2 adults.

It is a UK register vehicle with a right-hand driving position, dual-wheel rear axel, long wheelbase, and high roof. 

We’ve kept the van pretty much unmodified. So aside from putting off-road tires (Tyres) on her and engineering a raised air intake, there was no need to make any changes to the base vehicle.

The vehicle is rated a 4.5 GWT, but fully loaded is around 3.7 tonnes.

80,000 miles from new It is a factory-built permanent 4x4. With a 5 speed manual shift and a high and low gearbox, diff central and rear diff locks. It has a 2.1lt diesel engine that has the speed restriction still fitted to protect the engine from abuse. It also has a factory-fitted Eberspaecher engine preheater.

The camper was extensively modified from the original 16-seater minibus to a luxury go-anywhere self-contained off-grid camper for two adults.

As with any vehicle this age, there are a few bush stripes and character-enhancing dinky dinks. Unfortunately, despite a full respray 5 years ago, we do have some rust bubbling a the bottom of the rear doors and on one window rim.

It has been operated without complaint in the high Andes up to 5300m. Even the cooker worked; the heater, however, did not. As an older engine, there are no Ad-blue or complex computers to fail, perfect when traveling to more remote areas.

It does not have Air conditioning, but we have traveled in temps as low as -15*c and as high as 45*c.

Recently fully serviced. BFG 215/75 R15 Ko2 Mud terrains with 60% wear. 

She is on a 12 month TIP that will need renewing February 2023. The UK vehicle registration papers will need to be renewed by the new owners, I will help facilitate this via the UK DVLA agency.
