No More Sacrifices for Sin – Hebrews 10:1-39

Sacrifices for sin or sin offerings were required by YeHoVaH for every person who sinned unintentionally. No one was exempt. The status or position of the person who sinned determined the offering required to be presented on their behalf by the Priests. The Priests, the elders, the leaders, the kings and at times the whole Israelite community had to present a sin offering. In addition to individual and community sins, a special sacrifice for sin was required by YeHoVaH to be offered once a year on the Day of Atonement by the High Priest in office. This portion of Hebrews deals with the dissolution of the sacrifices for sin.
