Giraffe Grandfalls pressure washer retraction problem

This is my Giraffe Tools Grandfalls retractable pressure washer Pro that I installed August 2025. It is a wonderful tool with one significant design flaw. I was pulling the house out at about a 20 degree angle and the hose guide clicked and shifted 2 inches, and I cannot get it to shift back. The result is that the rewind of the hose starts 2 inches in and then does not lay straight. An improved design would have a guide release button that would allow me to realign the hose guide so that it once again rewinds the hose starting at the far left of the reel.
