Specialized Fuse 2020 29er custom build

Wanted to give you a view of my specialized fuse 2020 29er which was custom built. Originally it was the Comp model which I managed to find at Bow Cycle in Calgary who are an awesome bike shop. This is a medium frame perfect for me at 5 foot 10 .
I would have bought the frame alone but Specialized did not have that option in Canada and looks like they were sold out in the USA as well.

I only kept 3 things on it which was the Bridge seat I liked and felt pretty good. The Tranz X dropper Seatpost as its a 34mm Seatpost tube and hard to find other companies that make them or have them in stock. And the grips which are ok but will replace soon.

So what did I do? Well, first I replaced all of the low-end SX SRAM stuff that was just heavy and not what I like anyhow. I'm a Shimano guy and that's what I stay with. I swapped out all for XT brakes 4 piston levers, derailleur and shifter. I replaced the Handlebars and stem for Race Face brand Next carbon bars and affect stem. The Cranks were also replaced for Raceface Next carbon cranks. The fork was replaced from a RockShox low-end Recon to a Fox 34 2021 Kashima 140mm of travel. A super nice suspension fork. Again I like Fox shocks. And the BEST part was replacing the wheelset. It had Specialized wheels which were heavy and only 30mm which for 2.6 tires not great as they roll easily. I opted to get a custom set of wheels from We Are One in Kamloops British Columbia. I chose the Converts which are 35mm wide so can hold the wheels 2.5 - 3.0 in size on especially for a hardtail like this one. I opted for the Industry Nine Hydra hubs and Sapim spokes. They built them in a week and shipped them out to me. What an awesome team they have there! Highly recommend the wheels and life time warranty on them so no worries ride like you mean it! My fav pedals added are the Crank Brother enduro clipless which I have enjoyed for a few years.

I took out this bad boy on the trails here in Canmore Alberta where I live and let it rip on a trail that had lots of turns so i could see how it operated. It took me a few clicks of the shock to feel right and learning to ride a hardtail after almost 15 years of full suspension was super fun! The bike is made for climbing tecnical rooty trails and going down flowy berms and can take it on technical trails as well. It holds well and feels great with those Maxxis DHR 2.6 tires and We Are One Converts. https://www.weareonecomposites.com/shop/product/revolution-wheelset-2020-516

This bike has been rated by many as a great bike overall but Specialized didn't do a great job on building it with higher-end components like it deserves. Anyone who bought this bike as a complete bike should look at upgrading stuff if they have they have the extra cash. You will notice the difference.

Here are some notes:
M4 Aluminum Frame handmade in Taiwan for Specialized
Headtube 66.5 slack
Chainstays adjustable 420mm to 435mm so 15mm of adjustment
Can run 27.5 plus tires or 29
Internal cable routing is super slick
2 water bottle mounts ( down tube has 3 mounts I think for possible bags)
