Queen Elizabeth Being Initiated as a Druid

On August 6, 1946, Princess Elizabeth (the latter Queen Elizabeth II) was initiated into the Mystic Circle of Bards by the archdruid Crwys Williams at the National Eisteddfod, or festival, at Mountain Ash, Glamorgan, Wales.

The Order of Bardos, Ovates & Druids or OBOD is a Neo-Druidic organization based in England with members in all parts of the world.
