What is Ethereum London Hard Fork & Why is it Important?

Ethereum London Hard Fork is slated to happen today (August 5th, 2021)!

What is the London hard fork? And why is this relevant for crypto investors?

Ethereum London Hard Fork, also known as EIP-1559, is part of a larger ETH system overhaul called Ethereum 2.0 (which is scheduled to be done by early 2022).

The ETH London Hard Fork is an upgrade to the system, primarily to help make the ETH DeFi network more efficient and user-friendly.

Primary goals of the London Hard Fork include:
-- gas fees become more predictable (less volatility within the gas / transaction fees), and therefore easier to use
-- auto burn rates are added to transactions, to make the overall supply more scarce
-- minimum base payment for transactions, to help shift from "Proof of Work" to "Proof of Stake" consensus algorithm
-- among others!

As we get closer to finalizing a full-blown shift to Ethereum 2.0... I remain incredibly bullish on the future of ETH, BSC, defi, and crypto in general. As of publishing this video, ETH is climbing higher and higher on the daily and weekly charts!
