How Finnish Conscription should Prevent a Potential Russian Invasion

'The Army makes a Man out of You' is a short video production shot in 2018. It follows two Finnish teenagers that served in the Finnish army in that year and gives an insight in the life of young conscripts, as well as providing context about the history of conscription in Finland.

Finland has been one of few countries in the EU that has used conscription to defend its borders. Being unable to trust on unconditional support from the NATO, this topic has been more relevant than ever before

For Finnish boys it is compulsory to serve a certain time in the army. They serve at tops a year whilst the minimum time to serve is half a year.
