Carver County Sheriff's Office Electronic Record 2, 4, and 5. The vault is one level below the studios at Paisley Park, which contained Prince's original recordings, many of which have never been released. The Sheriff's office returned on 4 times to photograph evidence at Paisley Park. A locksmith was hired by Bremer Bank, the appointed special administrator of Prince's estate, to drill into the singer's secret vault.

It has been five years since musician Prince died, and the estate continues to release new music from the prolific artist. With an estimated 8,000 songs locked away in Prince's vault, other estimates cite 100 albums. In September 2016, all of the music was moved from Paisley Park to Iron Mountain, a climate-controlled storage facility in Los Angeles to be securely stored, and digitized. The latest album, Welcome To America will be released July 30, 2021.
