S2E8 Sprinter Van Life | How I Fixed My 12V Shurflo Pump

This is how I fixed my 12V pump!

I have had intermittent issues with my 12V Shurflo pump multiple times whilst living vanlife. I suspected it was the pressure switch, and this time I found out what was really going on.

My pump is mounted underneath the van, which means it is susceptible to dust etc, and this is what was the problem. Dust and debri was finding its way through a tiny unsealed entry hole in the pressure switch body, and jamming the switch to turn the pump on and off.

I freed up the switch mechanism, and then sealed up the switch body as good as I could to prevent this issue from happening again.

I believe it should be a permanent fix.
