TUZLA&PANONSKA JEZERA 30.03.2018 (Pannonica Lake Reconstruction)

Panonsko Lake is an artificial lake of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the municipality of Tuzla.
Pannonian lakes are salty artificial lakes in Tuzla. The complex of the Pannonian Lakes consists of three lakes of different sizes and depths, and salty waterfalls. Within the complex of the Pannonian Lakes there is also a Neo-Neolithic settlement, sports fields, and many other catering, cultural and entertainment facilities. All three lakes are located in the strict center of Tuzla. The salt water complex is managed by the public utility company "Pannonica" d.o.o. Tuzla. About 150 workers work in this company.

Pannonian lakes represent unique examples of saline lakes in Europe and have medicinal properties thanks to the content of salt and other minerals. Water in the lakes is constantly circulated, and is purified by sand filters.
