After being pulled through a dimensional storm into a strange new world, Captain Natalie Artemis and her team discover the burned remains of a missing military unit scattered across the desert. Before they can understand what happened, warning signs begin to appear that something enormous is nearby. Moments later, a monstrous Diablos erupts from beneath the sand and attacks. As bullets and explosives prove useless against the creature's armored body, the team realizes they are facing a predator far beyond anything they can comprehend. With nowhere to run and no way to stop it, survival becomes their only goal.
