Why is the Rolex Hulk so Expensive? | 116610LV prices at nearly triple retail!?

It's been 6 months since the Rolex Submariner Hulk (Ref. 116610LV) was discontinued and replaced by the Rolex Cermit/Starbucks (Ref. 126610LV), but despite the new model featuring a better movement and reshaped lugs that addressed the criticisms of the Hulk's supercase, the Rolex Hulk is actually selling for *more* than the new green Submariner, and over double its original retail! But why is the pirce of a Submariner Hulk so high?

The Rolex Submariner Hulk's green dial sets it apart from the other two green bezel Submariners - its predecessor the 16610LV Kermit and the new 2020 126610LV Starbucks/Cermit. And while the Rolex 116710BLNR Batman recieved some attention when it was discontinued, prices have normalized and its successor the 126710BLNR Batgirl are relatively evenly matched on pre-owned price. So is it just the dial that makes the Hulk worth more than the new green Submariner Date?
