finally, finally, finally! this brings me so many memories -- i only hope to return to makkah, the blessed holy city. we performed umrah our first night there, and our stay in these lands was nothing short of exploration, history and heart-trembling faith. this is where the roots are - where islam began, where the muslims have spread their word. it's awe-inspiring.
