Our new offgrid caravan power set up. Installation and van walkthrough.

We upgraded to an Enerdrive Lithium battery, and added more solar to let us travel Australia in comfort without needing to connect to AC power.

So excited to share this with you guys! We saw the team at @Accelerate Auto Electrics & Air Conditioning to upgrade our system and share what we upgraded to/why/and how everything works!
Ps we 100% recommend seeing these guys if you’re on the Sunshine Coast.

If you watched our living offgrid at Straddie episode you would have seen how we used our last set up. It served us well but we knew we needed to make some changes to allow us do what we want to do, for longer.
Apart of becoming more sustainable for us was to upgrade our set up while caravan travel around Australia.

It was a fairly costly and difficult decision to make but we're already so stoked and grateful with how our new system performs!

We are a family of four living in our caravan nomading around Australia.

We've sold our house and most of our belongings to live a life of freedom, minimising our environmental footprint and to simplify our lifestyle.
We aren't bound by a time frame and are happy just floating with the breeze (hence our name inspired by the proverb 'A rolling stone gathers no moss).
