‘Strength deters bad guys, weakness begets war’: Trump understood the language of force
Sky News host James Morrow says former president Donald Trump understood “thugs like Xi and Putin” speak in the language of force and are goaded by weakness – a fact Joe Biden would do well to consider.
“As enemies circle, Biden is proposing making cuts in real terms to America's national defense budget,” he said.
Mr Morrow said the president’s “biggest so-called improvements” to the US military include the introduction of a chief of diversity who it was revealed spent his “spare time comparing Trump to Hitler” on Twitter.
He pointed to a recent tweet by Mr Trump’s former secretary of state Mike Pompeo who said the other day “strength deters bad guys. Weakness begets War”.
