International Space Apps Challenge Kathmandu 2014

International Space Apps Challenge is a two-day hackathon where teams of technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers, and students collaborate across the globe, using publicly available data to design innovative solutions for global challenges in software development, citizen science, hardware, and data visualization.

This is the second time, it was organized in Kathmandu. This year, too, SERVIR Himalaya, ICIMOD and YoungInnovations once again partnered and organized the hackathon. CSIT Association of Nepal and Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN) supported in spreading the word in various IT and Engineering colleges in and out of Kathmandu. The hackathon was held on April 12-13, 2014 at Trade Tower Business Centre, Thapathali, Kathmandu.
