It's Just A PC | S01E26 | NES Floppy Drive Controller pt. 2 (M E G A S T R E A M)

I'm going to try and actually start doing some streaming, and about what you may ask? Ever notice how a video game console is basically just a normal computer with missing parts? For some reason I have an urge to stick those parts back on.

Yesterday: Moved the eeprom from the SMB3 board over to a separate card (and now it's in a ZIF socket even!) that also has a mostly-wired floppy controller IC on it. Confirmed that the eeprom still works moved over like that, but when we started running the chip select signal through another GAL to start handling address decode we found that for some reason that makes it suddenly stop working

Today: More of the same -- now that we have our outboard PCB going let's see if we can't figure out why this GAL is screwing things up and at least try to get to the point where we can read and write the floppy controller registers
