TOBY THE PUP--Blu Ray Collection

This is the first collection of the very rare Toby the Pup cartoons produced by the Charles Mintz Studio for RKO distribution. Created by Dick Huemer and Sid Marcus, this was Mintz' attempt to compete with the popularity of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse. In some cases Mickey Mouse cartoons were remade such as DOWN SOUTH without much success.

Includes the Dick Huemer documentary, HUEMERESQUE featuring an extensive interview with Huemer's son, Dr. Richard Huemer.
