We have come back to the serene valley of Dura Den in Kemback for another larking adventure in the Burn! This week we move a little closer to the location of one of our first ever videos for this channel - Kemback Waterfall, where we will return for our 1st anniversary video!

Dura Den once hosted large scale industrial production - its hard to believe when we look at the place today... the bubbling burn, the ever-present birdsong - neither of these things seem compatible with industry. None the less, the Den was once a hive of activity with many mills along the course of the burn! We take a look at this raw energy that powered that industrial boom here in the mid 1800s.

Today, we cross the burn to see what we can find on the small embankment that Nicole scouted out last time... If we have a bottle stopper bonanza the last time around, we have a bottle neck bonanza this time! We also find an array of kitchen condiment pieces, a coffee jar, a syrup of figs bottle fragment, and the ubiquitous Bovril jar bottom, plus lots more!

The find of the day... is Belle, our delightfully terrifying doll find, the best of the day!? She is certainly remarkable and unforgettable! Without doubt, Belle is the creepiest thing we have ever found! And we have to love her for that.

Back home, we take a look at our best finds, we craft a Cool Steampunk Wall Clock, and take a look at some of the photographs you have sent in - they are really fantastic!

---Update on Scotland's COVID restrictions---
We continue to follow restrictions so that we can work safely, responsibly, and legally.

Guidelines in Scotland have now changed. We are now allowed to meet outside with six others.

---Our policies---

- Since March 2020, we have restricted our movements and meetings.

- We never film in a busy location - aside from maintaining isolation, we could not make restful, calming, or relaxing content in a busy area.

- Since March 2020 we have restricted our travel to distances that allow us to get to our location, film our content, and return home, without ever visiting local amenities, entering any buildings etc. This gives us a reasonable window to work in while also maintaining that we are not out for very long.

- We only film once a week, and we always do that mid-week. If we arrive in an area and people are present, we leave without getting out of the car.

- We will continue to follow these policies fully, and we will cease outdoor filming altogether should government guidance change.
