Japan defence official warns Myanmar coup could increase China's influence in region
International reaction to the coup in Myanmar has been mixed. China has said the military's action and detention of leaders is just a "cabinet reshuffle". Meanwhile, Japan has warned that a poor global response could increase Beijing's influence.
