Arduino sound reactive VU meter WS2812B LEDs
I originally uploaded a video about this in 2018, but as so many people wanted to see how to make it I've made this video as a guide! The VU meter supports approx 75 LEDs per channel (150 total) on a nano, but can support many more on MCUs with more RAM.
It has 10 VU sound reactive patterns and 7 standby patterns. A single press of the button cycles through these, a long press sets it to change pattern every 10 seconds.
If you're having problems with the code please follow the instructions in the video exactly. Its important that you unzip the folder from GitHub and rename it Uno_vu_line. I also forgot to mention in the video that you will need the FastLED library, along with JC_Button library. You can install them both from Tools - Manage Libraries in the Arduino IDE.
Code and schematic can be found here: https://github.com/s-marley/Uno_vu_line
